Welcome to the official website of the Canadian Association of Certified Planning Technicians, now in our 34th year of operation.

CACPT is dedicated to the promotion and welfare of planning technician and technology professionals throughout Canada. Our membership spans the entire country, and is expanding with every year. We now represent over 500 full, associate and student members.

2012 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE – THEME ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES
The conference planning committee led by David French is working on a very timely topic of green energy developments. It will be held on October 19, 2012 at the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus near Chatham Ontario. There will be an impressive line up of speakers and workshops. Delegates will be able to tour the solar and wind farms in the Chatham Kent area. Watch here for additional information.
