CACPT is dedicated to the promotion and welfare of planning technician and technology professionals throughout Canada. Our membership spans the entire country, and is expanding with every year. We now represent nearly 400 full, associate and student members.
For new and potential members visiting us, read on to see what the CACPT is all about. For our existing members, welcome to your home on the web, a source for up-to-date information on trends and happenings in the Association and in the planning tech world.
2009 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE:
Our 2009 Professional Development Conference will be held at the beautifully restored LIUNA Station in Hamilton, Ontario. This historic rail terminal is a prime example of "adaptive re-use", having been converted to office and banquet hall space. The station will also now see new life as a railway station once again, as it will be acting as the "Gateway to Niagara" for new GO Transit commuter rail service to the Niagara Region.
Details of the 2009 Conference can be found by clicking here. Be sure to attend next year's event in October 2009, another exciting day of learning and networking, and fun.
